Everything between a blank page and a marked paper
Four things you stop doing by hand.
Ask for a paper, get a paper. Describe the exam you want. The agent drafts the questions, checks the notation, and hands back something you can edit — or publish as it stands.
3 admissions
Waiting on you
One QR, a whole batch. Print the classroom code or drop it in the group chat. Students scan, request admission, and wait in a queue you approve from.
Question banks that outlive the syllabus. Tag by subject, standard and topic. Notation renders properly, so a rotational-motion question still reads like one next year.
Marked before the room empties. Choice and true-or-false questions are scored on submit. Short answers land in a grading queue with the marks already totalled around them.
The whole thing, in order
No setup call, no migration, no spreadsheet of student emails.

Single choice, multiple choice, true or false, short answer. LaTeX renders as you type, so equations are readable before anyone sits the paper.

The paper knows when someone leaves the room.
An online exam is only worth marking if it was sat honestly. The app closes the easy doors, and writes down what happens at the rest.
Proctored exam. We record when you leave the app and which apps you open.
I’ve read what’s recorded.
Nothing recorded in secret
Before the timer starts, the student reads exactly what is recorded and ticks to accept. There is no Begin button until they do.
Question 1 of 5
Leaving now will not submit your exam
exit_attempted
Pinned to the paper
The exam is sat in the app, never a browser tab. Screen pinning can be required before it opens, and backing out is an event on the attempt rather than an exit.
STEP 1
Switch airplane mode on
If your device reconnects during the exam, it ends and submits automatically.
Airplane mode, on purpose
Offline exams download the whole paper up front, then the phone goes dark. Reconnecting before you submit ends the attempt and sends it.
It sees which apps were opened
On Android the attempt reads the device's own foreground timeline, so an app opened mid-exam is on the record. ChatGPT, WhatsApp, Telegram, browsers and remote-desktop tools are named and flagged. Anything the catalogue cannot name is logged without a category, because a keyboard nobody has listed yet must not fail a real student.
blocked_app_foreground
A restricted app was opened during the exam.
screenshot_taken
Student took a screenshot.
clock_drift
Device clock differs from server time.
The teacher gets the timeline
Screenshots, screen recording, overlays, split screen, clock drift and every app above land on the attempt with a severity. What counts as cheating stays the teacher's call, made against the whole timeline.
iOS cannot list running apps, so those attempts are recorded as reduced assurance — and a strict run refuses iPhone outright rather than pretend it checked.
